Comment: An improved version of the Swiftsure class. Suffered a minor steam leak in the reactor compartment at Lisbon in October 1998. Maximun diving depth is 590m. It is possible that this unit has been refitted and is able to launch, as other units of the class do, the UGM-109 Block III Tomahawk missile.
