Comment: Designed as an AOR, requirement for this ships is to provide fuel and stores to a fleet at sea. The initial plan comprised the construction of six units of the same type, but finally only two units were finished. At first it was planned to include an air search radar, such as the Plessey 996 ( 3D, E/F bands ) but finally was not included.
